I am super pleased to share with you about my new, 16th title! Well, ok, it’s not totally new. Maxilla was my first picture book, published in 2013 by MPH. This year it’s been republished as part of a set of children’s readers. The story is almost the same - it won’t matter to you unless you know the first story - but the text has been refined to suit the series of readers. I’m really happy as it’s given me a chance to change all the bits that made me cringe while reading the original Maxilla. Whenever I read it during storytelling sessions, I would be editing on the spot. I’m so glad Maxilla’s been given a second lease of life!
